Reset password
Issue a new database password when the original one-time value was not saved.
When to reset
The password is shown only once after create. If it was not stored, open the database detail page and choose Reset password.
Reset is available when status is Active or Suspended.
What happens
- A new password is created for your database user.
- The old password stops working immediately.
- Update every app and client that still uses the old password.
- The new password is shown once on the detail page. Save it in your secrets store.
Username
Username does not change on reset. You can copy it from the database detail page anytime.
After delete
Deleting the database removes its login. There is nothing to reset. Create a new database if you still need one.
